Q: Can you tell us a little bit about yourself and how you got started with us? A: My name is Sherry and I'm 51 years young. I have always loved to exercise but like everyone else, life gets in the way, you stop taking care of you, and family and work come first. So I have been up and down with my weight and started to get, well ... unhealthy- and have been very mad at myself! Well you know what? Its my life and I need to be healthy to be with my family and do a job I love!
Q: What is your favorite inspirational quote? A: My favorite quote is, "It's a lifestyle change!" and I have heard all the trainers say it! And, you know what? It is! Making time for myself is important!
Q: What are your personal health and fitness goals? A: My health and fitness goals have been: To lose 10 pounds, which I have exceeded (woohoo)! Also, to run a mile- which I can now run two; and to build more muscle and look lean (which I do now)! I am loving it! I love to challenge myself and set goals. When I do reach them, it motivates me to do more!
Q: What is your "word" of the year? A: "Success" is my word of the year because it feels so good to be successful in my journey.
Q: How has Fit2theCore/NutritionWorks made a difference in your life? A: Fit2theCore has helped me so much with their great classes- all the trainers are there to help! Having meal plans, shopping lists, and recipes has really helped too!
Q: What would you say to someone on the fence about making a change and committing to their goals? A: If someone is on the fence about making changes, you have to "try" to succeed. We are all there for you every step of the way! I promise you will see results!
