Here is my story about how I became a member at Fit 2 the Core: I had an appointment with my doctor who told me I had to lose weight to avoid a potential stroke. I decided to see Camille to see if she could help me. She suggested starting off with a three week challenge she was offering called "Hot for the Holiday". I had my doubts at first because I love to eat, and all the wrong things. Plus, I have never really worked out before. After just three weeks, I lost 12 pounds, 14 inches and lost 1.5% body fat. These were great results and even though I am a very busy person, as many of us are, I decided to do something for myself and became a member.
I work out three times a week and always do cardio before or after my workouts. I have followed the meal plans provided by Camille. The meal plans will teach you what to eat and how much, plus you get some great recipes! Lastly, I check in with the scale every week to make sure that I am on track.
Believe me when I say I have battled with my weight for about thirty years. I have tried numerous diets and nothing has ever worked for me but this does. Camille has taught me that being healthy and eating healthy is a lifestyle. After being here for a year I have lost over 61 lbs, 13% body fat and 47 inches! It is hard work but well worth it! In the past few months I have been able to complete the Pell Bridge Walk with my husband and I was able to get off of my high blood pressure medication!
Anybody can do this with the support from Fit 2 the Core/NutritionWorks! Camille and her amazing staff and the support you get from the women in the gym makes it fun.
