I am so honored to have been chosen as Fit 2 the Core/NutritionWorks Spotlight Client for August! I have been working out for years but since joining here, I have never been more motivated and committed to my workouts and nutrition. After my local gym permanently closed, I tried out several different gyms in the last year and a half but struggled to find the right fit for me. I wanted a place that truly cared about my goals, designed a well-rounded exercise program, and had a knowledgeable staff. Lucky for me that I got all of that and way more!
I started in January with the New Year, New You challenge. My number one goal was to continue to build my strength in an effort to decrease chronic back pain. To my surprise, I learned so much about nutrition and with Camille’s coaching, I have retrained myself in the way that I eat. In four weeks I was down a little over 5 pounds and I didn’t want to stop there. I officially joined the gym and continued to follow the meal plans, train 4-5 days per week, and weigh in weekly. I was working hard to build my muscles and wanted them to show! It is now almost 6 months later and I’m down about 13 pounds and I am lifting heavier than ever.
I love the community at Fit 2 the Core – from Camille, to the trainers, to Christine, and all of the dedicated members. It is truly a community that cheers each other on and cares about your overall health and improving your lifestyle. I’m looking forward to continuing to set and reach new goals.
