Q: What is your favorite inspirational quote? A: Very rarely do the best things in life fall into our laps. We have to work for them.
Q: What are your personal health and fitness goals? A: My personal health and fitness goals are to continue working out and making healthy food choices to feel and look my best and to keep focused on why I am on this lifetime journey. I want to not only lose weight but also tone my body as well.
Q: What ONE thing that keeps you most focused and motivated to continue to work hard and reach your goals? A: The one thing that keeps me motivated is the results I see from my week-to-week progress. I challenge myself to keep maintaining my weight and getting the most out of each workout while being mindful of my food choices.
Q: Can you tell me a little bit about yourself and how you got started with us? A: Back in 2016 I joined the 21-day Transformation Challenge to transform my body and learn to make healthy choices in my diet. At that time I saw positive results and learned so much. I had good results but did not continue my membership at that time. Camille told me that I would be back and she was right. Although I had learned and achieved so much, it was still difficult for me to continue on my own. In June of 2020 I met with Camille and told her I needed to join again and focus on getting back into shape. I am most successful when I am part of the Fit 2 the Core "family." The support from the trainers is so motivating and valuable to me. I cannot believe how fast the time has gone by and what I have achieved thus far is beyond my expectations. I learned that I have more strength and willpower than I ever imagined and it is well worth the effort to put the time into the workouts, focus on my diet choices and see the results each week. I also now realize that these results help me to be a happier person in my own body. My mindset is completely different now than when I first joined the gym. I am also a much stronger person and see small changes just in my daily activities. I now have the mindset to work out daily even when I am not taking classes at the gym. I also feel that seeing positive weekly results motivates me to keep going.
Q: How has Fit 2 the Core Nutrition Works made a difference in your life? A: Joining the gym has made a huge difference in my life. I now realize I can achieve results that make me a happier, healthier person. I feel so much better and have received many compliments on my weight loss thus far. I am amazed to see what I have accomplished.
Q: What kind of milestones have you accomplished and what specific results have you achieved so far? A: Thus far I have surpassed my original goal of losing 17 lbs. and have continued to maintain my weight loss. I am also most happy with the inches I have lost, 23.25", and how I have transformed my body.
Q: What is your "word" of the year? A: My word of the year is determination. I am determined to continue to stay on track to keep my new lifestyle and encourage other people to do the same. It takes determination and dedication to make things happen and each day I remember why I started this journey to be the best possible version of myself.
Q: What would you say to someone on the fence about making a change and committing to their goals? A: I would say that it is a journey and that it will be the best decision you will ever make for yourself. Seeing good results will motivate you week after week and show you that you are much stronger than you think you are. It is well worth the effort and the feeling you get when you see that the results you have achieved are beyond your expectations. You must also realize that there will be times when you get off track and that is okay and is part of life. Everyone has a bad day or week at times. I must say that there will always be temptations and that the key is to just remember why you started this journey and focus on your goals and get back to challenging yourself to be the new you. It takes time to get results and nothing is easy in life. It takes hard work, dedication and determination. This is a lifetime journey that we will all take together. It will be one of the best decisions you have ever made for yourself and your family. The continued support and inspiration from Camille and her staff will help you in ways you have never imagined.
