Q: What is your favorite inspirational quote? Word of the year? A: My favorite inspirational quotes are, "Just do it" and "Keep looking forward"! My word of the year is "motivation".
Q: What are your personal health and fitness goals? A: When I joined almost a year ago, I wanted to exercise again, tone up my body, lose some weight, feel better about myself physically, and make ME time. Even though I have more areas to tone and more weight to lose, it's great to always evaluate your goals, adapt as needed, and move on with them. Being on the right path only makes it easier. I have found ME time, have more energy, and am on a solid plan.
Q: What is one thing that keeps you most focused and motivated to continue to work hard and reach your goals? A: Seeing your body change before your eyes is so rewarding- a great confidence booster and it makes you feel great all over!
Q: Can you tell us a little bit about yourself and how you got started with us? A: I am happily married over 39 years to my soulmate and biggest support system. I grew up in Warwick but have lived in Cranston ever since. I have two wonderful, grown daughters who have families, and 2 beautiful granddaughters- ages 1 and 3. They are nearby so "Mimi" sees them often. I am a registered nurse for Kent Hospital, working for over 35 years. I am looking forward to retirement. I saw Fit2theCore's "Little Black Dress" challenge on Facebook and it was calling me! I thought I could do this for 6 weeks, and maybe even win. I didn't win, but now have a full-fledged membership at F2TC!
Q: How has Fit2theCore/NutritionWorks made a difference in your life? A: It was my "diamond in the rough" sort of speaking. All other programs failed me or I have failed them. You have made my journey enjoyable and I am on the right path that works for me. The direction I receive, meal plans. recipes, challenges, workouts, etc.. have all made me successful. The encouragement from Camille, trainers, and other members, give me the extra push I need at times. I look forward to classes 3x per week, and any new challenges offered.
Q. What kind of milestones have you accomplished and what specific results have you achieved so far? A: Every inch of my body has changed for the better. My weight is 20 lbs. down, as well as many inches. My body has more muscle and is more toned. My husband said I am a different person inside and out, since starting at F2TC.
