Over the past few years I had put on some weight and really wanted to shed those extra pounds. My sister who is a member of Fit 2 the Core/NutritionWorks told me about a 10-day detox they were doing. I signed up hoping to give myself a jumpstart with weight loss.
When I attended my first exercise class I felt truly welcomed but also truly lost. Having never done a class before I felt overwhelmed-which weight to use, using proper form, names of exercises-burpees, deadlifts etc. I had no idea what they were! However, the trainers were awesome!!! They were so patient, encouraging and challenging that it made me feel so comfortable being there. All the women in class were so welcoming and supportive as well.
After a few classes I realized I had a long way to go. I needed to make a lifestyle change and commitment to include both exercise and nutrition. Since joining Fit 2 the Core/NutritionWorks I’ve been able to lose weight and inches, gain strength, make better food choices and increase my energy level.
The whole Fit 2 the Core/NutritionWorks team has had such a positive effect on my life. Diane and Lisa-helping me so much with challenging workouts. Camille-my nutrition and meal planning. My food choices have made significant changes thanks to Camille! Christine-always there to lend support with anything you need.
